Rhyperior, the Drill Pokémon and the evolved form of Rhydon. Rhyperior can concentrate strength in its body and expand, causing the stone in its hand to launch.
– Ash’s Pokedex
Rhyperior is one of the Pokemon that evolved by trade while holding an item (and that item having this exclusive purpose). Its typing gives it 6 weaknesses, including double weaknesses to both Water and Grass, though one of its abilities Solid Rock (which reduces super effective damage by 1/4) can help make that less of a problem.
It’s huge and made of solid rock, making it quite heavy (623.5lbs or 282.8kg). Yet for some unfathomable reason, it can learn Surf… Two major problems with a surfing Rhyperior: 1. It would definitely sink in Water, and 2. Being Ground/Rock, it’s doubly weak to Water. I don’t know, Pokemon logic is weird sometimes.
Stat-wise, it has a LOT of HP, Attack, and Defense, the highest Attack of non-legendary Ground-types, and highest HP of Rock-type and Ground-types. In exchange, it has poor Speed, Sp Attack, and Sp Defense. So it’ll probably die to even Magical Leaf and Bubble Beam (maybe even Bubble). However, if you’re not well-prepared against a Rhyperior (or if the opponent has Light Screen or Sandstorm in effect for example), and don’t take it out before it gets a chance to attack, you’re in for a lot of pain. It can learn high-powered STAB physical attacks like Stone Edge, Earthquake, and Rock Wrecker (its signature move until Gen V). Despite its poor Sp Attack, it can learn a surprising number of special moves, like Ice Beam, Blizzard, Thunderbolt, Flamethrower, and Surf. It can also learn Rain Dance, though I don’t know why you would want it for Rain Dance support, to make it even more weak to Water.
